Convention Day 1

Function Rooms 1–3, Cyberport 3
Shuttle Service: HKAST will provide a free shuttle service from Admiralty to Cyberport. Tickets can be reserved via the registrant portal.

Getting to the Venues

Day 1: Cyberport 3

In addition to the complimentary HKAST shuttle from Admiralty, Cyberport can be reached via public bus and green minibus routes:

  • Public Bus Routes:
    • Citybus Route 30X: Direct service running from Admiralty (near MTR Exit D) and Central straight to Cyberport.
    • Citybus Route 970: Runs from So Uk Estate (Kowloon) across to Cyberport via Western District.
    • Citybus Route 42C: Connects North Point to Cyberport.
    • Citybus Route 107P: Connects Hung Hom to Cyberport.
  • Green Minibus Routes:
    • Minibus Route 58 / 58M: Connects Kennedy Town MTR Station directly to Cyberport / Bel-Air.
    • Minibus Route 69 / 69X: Runs from Causeway Bay (Lockhart Road / Jaffe Road) directly to the Cyberport Public Transport Interchange.

Day 2: Main Campus, The University of Hong Kong (Pre-conference Workshop & Day 2)

  • MTR: HKU Station (Island Line). Use Exit A1 or A2 to access the HKU campus via escalators and lifts directly into the Main Campus.
  • Public Bus Routes
  • From Kowloon (e.g., Mong Kok / Jordan):
    • Citybus Route 970 & 970X: Run directly from West Kowloon/Mong Kok across the Western Harbour Crossing, stopping right along Pok Fu Lam Road outside the HKU campus (near HKU West Gate / Main Campus).
    • Citybus Route 973: Runs from Tsim Sha Tsui (East Tsim Sha Tsui/Cheong Tung Road) via the Western Harbour Crossing to Pok Fu Lam Road / HKU.
  • From Admiralty / Central / Wan Chai:
    • Citybus Route 40 & 40M: Run from Wan Chai and Admiralty directly past the HKU campus gates on Pok Fu Lam Road.
    • Citybus Route 23: Runs from North Point/Admiralty through Bonham Road (HKU East Gate).
    • Citybus Route 37A: Circular route from Admiralty passing through Bonham Road.
    • Citybus Route 90B: Runs from South Horizons via Admiralty/Central, stopping near the campus.
  • Green Minibus (GMB) Routes
    • Hong Kong Island Green Minibus Lines:
      • Route 22 / 22S: Runs between Central (Exchange Square) and Pok Fu Lam Gardens, passing directly via Bonham Road and HKU Station / HKU East Gate.
      • Route 8 / 8X: Runs from Central (near MTR Exit A) to Sassoon Road, passing right by the HKU campus area.
      • Route 10 & 31: Connect Admiralty directly to the Western District / HKU area.
      • Route 55: Connects Central to the Pok Fu Lam / HKU vicinity.

Accommodation

Hong Kong offers a wide range of hotels, serviced apartments, and guest houses. Areas convenient for transit to both Hong Kong Island locations (Cyberport and HKU) include:

  • Central & Western District / Sheung Wan / Kennedy Town: Extremely close to HKU and convenient for transit to Cyberport.
  • Tsim Sha Tsui / Admiralty / Wan Chai: Excellent MTR and bus connectivity to both HKU and Admiralty (for the Cyberport shuttle).
