Welcome to the 2026 HKAST Convention
a milestone event celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Hong Kong Association of Speech Therapists (HKAST). For the first time, HKAST proudly brings together professionals, scholars, and students from across the globe for an international convention dedicated to advancing the science and practice of speech-language therapy.

Co-organized by Hong Kong’s four speech therapy training universities—The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University—this convention embodies the spirit of collaboration and unity within our profession. Together, we are creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and cross-disciplinary dialogue.

The 2026 HKAST Convention features an inspiring lineup of keynote presentations, workshops, and symposia, offering opportunities to explore emerging research, best practices, and global perspectives in communication sciences and disorders.
