Abstract Submission Guidelines

2. Language and Cognitive Communication Disorders
3. Hearing and Balance Disorders
4. Swallowing and Feeding Disorders
5. Voice and Resonance Disorders
6. Autism and Social Communication
7. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
8. Orofacial and Craniofacial Disorders
9. Early Intervention and Developmental Disorders
10. Specialized Medical and Rehabilitation Topics
11. AI and Speech Therapy Development
12. Others

Presentation formats (Oral/Poster) and their specific requirements

  • Oral presentation:
    ► Oral presentation sessions are intended to disseminate scientific research or showcase clinical advancements in a clear and succinct manner.
    ► Clinical sessions will emphasize practical aspects of professional practice, including but not limited to innovative diagnostic methodologies, therapeutic interventions, and unique service delivery models utilized in clinical settings.
    ► Dedicated sessions will be conducted separately in English and Mandarin; presenters should select either language, as each session is exclusive and not bilingual.
  • Poster presentation:
    ► Poster presentation will consist of a printed poster. Presenters will share their work during an interactive session that includes audience engagement and Q&A.
    ► Posters may be submitted in one of the following formats:
    - English
    - Chinese
    - Bilingual (English and Chinese)

Submission guidelines:
  • All submissions must be made via the conference website.
  • Submission Period: 30 November 2025 – 28 February 2026.
  • Select the desired presentation format (oral or poster) and indicate the relevant topic(s).
  • Proposal Content
    • Title: Within 30 words, avoid the use of all capital letters and unnecessary punctuation.
    • Abstract/Summary: Submit an expanded summary of up to 300 words that will inform the Scientific Committee’s review. The abstract should include:
    • i) Background, ii) Aim, iii) Methodology, iv) Result/Discussion
    • All citations must adhere to the American Psychological Association (APA) style.
    • References are required and will be considered as part of the review process.
    • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) related to submissions.
